UPS dropped this off right before I had to leave for work. As with basically everything but work and 'special missions' right now, I haven't had a lot of time to mess with this but so far my impressions are all pretty good.
The guitar is absolutely beautiful. Finish seems to be flawless, wood grain looks fantastic, and nothing looks like it was half-assed. None of the hardware seems cheap. The neck is comfortable and the frets are all well dressed although it needs a real setup. That's OK though because I'm probably putting .012s on it, anyway (might go with .010s on this one, haven't quite made up my mind yet). Even with the crude factory setup it's still very playable .
I plugged it in and played it at very low volume; the controls all work properly, feel smooth, and there's no scratching. Pickups definitely need adjustment though; the bridge especially seems quieter than it should be (extra especially with the coil tap engaged). As for the tone, I'll have to decide on that when I can play it at a half decent volume. Pretty sure the neighbors won't appreciate me putting this through it's paces at midnight.
Finally, I cracked open the control cavity to find that it's cleanly routed, the cover plate fits very snugly, everything is properly sheilded, and whoever soldered everything up (while I would have done things a bit differently) clearly put some care into what they were doing:
